A Recalcitrant Feast

Tua met real food today. At 5:35 EST, Bug and I whipped up some infant cream of wheat concoction, placed it on the sparcely laid table and sat our daughter down in front of it. The reaction was a type of bridled indifference. She was not really all that wound up about having to sit at a table while a cold, pastey substance was shoveled into her mouth. Her favorite parts of the evenings events were as follows:

1- getting to hold a spoon

and

2- getting to put her feet up on the table while she ate

Tua enjoy this season of life. It is the only time when you are allowed and expected to make a mess at the table. Go for it!! :)

The first meal should always be vanilla ice cream! That would set the tone for the rest of life.
Aunt Dianna
Of course, from someone who has already raised children and now lets her grandchildren eat all the forbidden food groups!
